State Service of Intellectual Property presents yearly an Annual Reports for thorough studying of its activities in the previous year. This report will also cover the primary events of the year with particulars by various issues.

In April, 2012 the State Servise received 387 applications for registration of copyright to work and 14 applications for registration of agreements concerning copyright to work, 544 registrations of copyright to work were effected and 16 decisions on registration of agreements concerning copyright to work were made.

²n April, 2012 State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine received 422 applications for inventions, 982 applications for utility models, 1955 applications for trademarks and service marks under national procedure, 680-under the Madrid Agreement. Total amount of the registered documents in April, 2012 made up 2911 documents of title.

Total amount of registered documents of title made up 351420 as of 01.05.2012.

In April, 2012 the active work was continued for realization of tasks aimed at implementation of the state policy in the field of use of rights to industrial property objects (IPO) protected on the territory of Ukraine.

The total PPDC collection on optical media as of May 1, 2012 contains more than 17720 discs. PPDC is formed in accordance with the State policy aimed at supporting the innovative course of Ukraine’s development.

The PIB’s CD-ROM & DVD-ROM collection as of May 1, 2012 contains 13950 discs.

In March, 2012 the State Servise received 559 applications for registration of copyright to work and 36 applications for registration of agreements concerning copyright to work. 453 registrations of copyright to work were effected and 58 decisions on registration of agreements concerning copyright to work were made.

In March, 2012 the active work was continued for realization of tasks aimed at implementation of the state policy in the field of use of rights to industrial property objects (IPO) protected on the territory of Ukraine.

Total amount of registered documents of title made up 348509 as of 01.04.2012.

Òhe total PPDC collection on optical media as of April 1, 2012 reached 17630 discs.

The PIB’s CD-ROM & DVD-ROM collection as of April 1, 2012 contains more than 13860 discs.

In February, 2012 State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine received 647 applications for registration of copyright to work and 64 applications for registration of agreements concerning copyright to work. 552 registrations of copyright to work were effected and 24 decisions on registration of agreements concerning copyright to work were made.

In January, 2012 State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine received 308 applications for registration of copyright to work and 9 applications for registration of agreements concerning copyright to work.
