State Department of Intellectual Property State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine (hereinafter – State Service) is a central body of executive power activity of which is directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine (hereinafter – the Minister). State Service is included into the system of executive power bodies and ensures realization of state policy in the intellectual property sphere.
In its activity State Service is governed by Constitution and laws of Ukraine, acts issued by the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of Ukraine, other legislative acts of Ukraine, instructions of the President of Ukraine and the Minister.
