On Transfer of Rights to IPOs In April, 2011 the active work was continued for realization of tasks aimed at implementation of the state policy in the field of use of rights to industrial property objects (IPO) protected on the territory of Ukraine.
During the said period the Department received 195 sets of documents for entering in the appropriate state registers of data about transfer of property rights to IPOs and granting of licenses to their use.
The data about 170 transfers of rights to IPOs, namely, 156 - about transfers of property rights to IPOs, 14 - about granting of licensies to use IPOs, 8 - about "open" licenses. The mentioned data were published in the official journal "Promyslova Vlasnist" (Industrial Property) No.7 and No.8, 2011. At that, the number of Industrial Property Rights (IPRs), for which information on transfer of exclusiveproperty rights and license grants was entered into relevant state registries, noticeably exceeds the number of registered agreements and amounts to 340 IPRs, including 16 inventions, 22 utility models, 20 industrial designs and 282 marks for goods and services. Also during the said period 90 decisions on entering in the appropriate state registers of data about transfer of rights to IPOs, namely, 72 - about transfers of property rights to IPOs, 13 - about granting of licensies to use IPOs, 5 - about "open" licenses.
